Dealership Yard Operative
We are recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy franchised dealership, taking responsibility for keeping the forecourt organised, accessible and running smoothly.
This isn’t your typical driving role. You’ll be responsible for managing the movement and organisation of vehicles across the dealership, ensuring there are always suitable parking spaces available for customers and that sales and service vehicles can be easily located and accessed when required.
The Role
* Organising and managing vehicles across the dealership forecourt and yard
* Moving vehicles safely around the site as required
* Ensuring customer parking spaces remain available and accessible
* Keeping sales and service vehicles organised and easy to locate
* Supporting the dealership team with vehicle movements throughout the day
* Maintaining a tidy, organised and professional-looking forecourt
* Working proactively to ensure vehicles are positioned efficiently
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Organised with a practical, hands-on approach
* Proactive and able to work independently
* Confident moving and parking a variety of vehicles
* Reliable and able to manage competing priorities
* Comfortable working outdoors and within a busy dealership environment
* Able to take ownership of the forecourt and keep things running smoothly
* A full UK driving licence holder
Hours & Benefits
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm
Overtime available on weekends
This would suit someone who enjoys working around vehicles and takes pride in keeping things organised. You’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the dealership, helping ensure both customers and dealership teams can access the vehicles they need quickly and easily.
