Salary: DOE (Dependent on Experience)

The role.



As Senior ITAD Technician, you'll be at the heart of daily operations, ensuring IT assets are processed securely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards. You'll lead by example, supporting and developing a team while maintaining the highest levels of quality, security, and compliance.



Key Responsibilities:



- Lead, motivate, and support a team of ITAD Technicians.

- Oversee the secure processing, data wiping, and disposal of IT assets.

- Ensure compliance with data security protocols and environmental regulations.

- Monitor productivity, workflow efficiency, and quality control standards.

- Train, mentor, and develop team members to maximise performance.

- Maintain accurate asset records, reporting, and audit trails.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and operational efficiency.

- Champion health and safety best practices across the site



The ideal candidate:



We're looking for a confident and knowledgeable professional who combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability.



Essential Skills & Experience:



- Proven experience within ITAD, IT hardware processing, or a similar technical environment

- Strong knowledge of desktops, laptops, servers, mobile devices, and networking equipment.

- Experience with data sanitisation and destruction standards such as Blancco, ADISA, or equivalent.

- Previous team leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience.

- Excellent organisational and communication skills.

- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment



Desirable:



- IT, cybersecurity, or data security certifications

- Experience with asset management or inventory tracking systems

- Understanding of environmental compliance and e-waste regulations
