z/OS DB2 Specialist

Our Tier 1 Banking client is seeking an experienced DB2 for z/OS Specialist to join their team on a long-term contract engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As a DB2 for z/OS Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Performing database capacity planning and performance management.
Working closely with technical, application, and operational teams to ensure database integrity, availability, and security.
Managing database security controls and supporting disaster recovery planning and testing.
Supporting and managing distributed DB2 connections across enterprise environments.
Monitoring and maintaining DB2 for z/OS environments to ensure optimal performance and stability.
