As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising students in various classroom settings.
Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans effectively.
Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere.
Providing support to students with their learning and social development.
Collaborating with teaching staff and school administration to uphold school policies.
Requirements
The successful Cover Supervisor will have;
Previous experience working with young people, preferably in a school or youth setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage classroom dynamics.
A passion for education and youth development.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
