Residential Support Worker
South Shields
£34,320 per annum + £60 per sleep-in
40 Hours Per Week
We're looking for a caring and resilient Residential Support Worker to support children and young people in a residential setting.
What You'll Do
Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people.
Promote positive outcomes, independence, and wellbeing.
Act as a key worker and contribute to care planning.
Build positive relationships with families and professionals.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
Support with activities, appointments, education, and daily living tasks.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children and young people.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A positive, flexible, and dependable approach.
Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People's Services is desirable.
