Contract: Part time or full-time

Start: September 2024

The ideal candidate:

Teacher qualifications or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Year 6 or upper primary.
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development.
A passion for education and a dedication to student success.
The role:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and learning.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Participate in school-wide events, meetings, and professional development activities.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Foster a love of learning and encourage independent thinking in students.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to the overall school community and ethos.
