Year 6 Teacher - Wythenshawe
Full-Time | January - June 2027
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Wythenshawe. This is a full-time position starting in January 2027 and running until June 2027, offering a fantastic opportunity to support pupils through their final year of primary school.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
Prepare pupils for their SATs, building their confidence and ensuring they are ready for the transition to secondary school.
Use assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet pupils' individual needs.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for learning and behaviour.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils' academic progress and wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching in KS2, ideally within Year 6.
Is confident delivering the upper KS2 curriculum and preparing pupils for SATs.
Has strong classroom management skills and can motivate pupils to achieve their potential.
Is committed to providing high-quality teaching and supporting every child to succeed.
