Role Overview: They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join an enthusiastic team on a maternity cover basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Year 5 curriculum, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.
Implement effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in a relevant subject.
Proven experience teaching at the primary level, ideally in Year 5.
Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective practice.Desirable Attributes:
