Smile Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Year 4 teacher to join a primary school in the Wolverhampton area.
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and experienced teacher who can provide high-quality teaching while creating a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment for young pupils.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who is confident teaching Year 4 and is looking for a new opportunity within a supportive primary school.

As the Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons while supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development. You will be expected to create a positive classroom environment where children feel supported, encouraged and motivated to learn.

⭐Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
Supporting pupils across all areas of their learning and development
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs and abilities of individual pupils
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and progress
Supporting pupils' social and emotional development
Building positive relationships with pupils and creating a strong classroom culture
Working effectively with teaching assistants and other members of staff
Contributing to assessment and record keeping
Communicating effectively with colleagues and parents/carers where required
Supporting pupils to become confident and independent learners
Identifying where pupils may require additional support and adapting your teaching accordingly
Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging children to take pride in their learning
⭐The ideal candidate will be:

Qualified to teach in the UK
Experienced teaching within Key Stage 2
Ideally experienced specifically within Year 2
Confident with planning, assessment and classroom management
Able to differentiate learning effectively
Creative, engaging and enthusiastic
Calm, organised and reliable
Able to build strong and positive relationships with pupils
Confident managing classroom behaviour
Able to work effectively as part of a wider school team
Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
Committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environmentPrevious experience teaching Year 4 is highly desirable, as the school is looking for someone who can confidently step into the role and make a positive contribution from the outset.
