We are working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes seeking an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a full-time fixed-term basis until July 2027, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Role Highlights

Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Year 4 lessons
Teach across English, Maths and the wider curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
Assess and monitor pupil progress
Promote positive behaviour, independence and resilience
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents
Contribute to the wider school communityAbout You

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school
Year 4 experience is desirable
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
Nurturing, adaptable and reflective approach to teaching
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Passionate about supporting children's academic and personal development
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
