Are you an experienced Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference?

We are working in partnership with a specialist Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Blandford Forum area to recruit a Year 4 Class Teacher to join their dedicated team from January 2027.

This welcoming provision supports primary-aged pupils who have experienced barriers to learning due to social, emotional and behavioural needs. Class sizes are small, allowing staff to build positive relationships and provide personalised support that enables pupils to re-engage with education.

Create a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment.
Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural challenges.
Use positive behaviour strategies to encourage engagement and progress.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and the wider leadership team.
Celebrate every achievement, helping pupils develop both academically and emotionally.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
Has strong behaviour management skills and remains calm under pressure.
Is resilient, patient and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
Experience within SEMH, SEN, PRUs or alternative provision is desirable but not essential.

What You'll Receive

Small class sizes with excellent support.

The chance to genuinely transform the educational journey of young people who need it most.
If you're passionate about inclusive education and believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
