The Role
As the Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging, creative and purposeful lessons.
Teaching the full Year 4 curriculum.
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Supporting pupils to achieve strong academic and personal progress.
Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
Assessing, recording and monitoring pupil progress.
Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and learning.
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
Contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching within a UK primary school.
Has experience working within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.
Has a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
Is confident with classroom and behaviour management.
Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential.
Is creative, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-quality lessons.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Is reliable, professional and looking for a long-term opportunity.
ECTs may also be considered, depending on the requirements of the school.
