Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Radcliffe area of Bury.
The school is committed to providing an engaging and inclusive curriculum, with a strong focus on developing pupils' confidence as they make the transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2.
With a supportive leadership team and a collaborative teaching environment, this is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys developing children's independence, strengthening core skills and delivering creative lessons.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons to a Year 3 class.
Supporting pupils with the transition into Key Stage 2 learning.
Developing reading, writing and mathematical skills.
Differentiating lessons to accommodate different learning abilities.
Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress.
Establishing positive classroom routines and expectations.
Promoting independent learning and problem-solving.
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and colleagues.
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS.
Have previous primary teaching experience.
Ideally have experience teaching within Lower Key Stage 2.
Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management.
Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
Have a positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
