Location: Addlestone, Surrey
Salary: £137 to £278 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Long-term, full-time

About the role
We’re recruiting a Year 3 teacher for a one-year long-term placement at a primary school in Addlestone. You’ll teach Year 3, delivering engaging teaching across the full curriculum as pupils develop independence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning.
As a Year 3 teacher, you’ll deliver whole class teaching with breadth and depth. You’ll support pupils’ transition into upper Key Stage 2 with growing academic demands, develop their resilience and learning behaviours, and foster genuine engagement with learning.
Your role includes:
* Teaching Year 3 across the full primary curriculum
* Supporting pupils’ growing independence and resilience
* Behaviour management and classroom organisation
* Tracking pupil progress across subjects
* Building strong relationships with pupils and families
* Contributing to the Year 3 team and school community
* Safeguarding and pastoral care
About you
You’re a qualified Year 3 teacher with experience teaching upper primary learners. You bring:
* QTS qualification (or equivalent)
* Proven experience teaching Year 3 or upper KS2
* Strong curriculum knowledge
* Proven classroom management and safeguarding practice
* Commitment to pupil progress
* Reliability and professionalism
You might be an established Year 3 specialist, an early career teacher with strong upper primary practice, someone returning to teaching, or a teacher developing Year 3 expertise.
