About Us
At AK Teaching, we are working with a fantastic Leeds Primary School to find an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2024.
Responsibilities
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student well-being and learning.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
* Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
* Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is desirable.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of students.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development.
