Job Description: As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in guiding young learners through a critical stage of their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons that meet the needs of Year 2 students and align with the national curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe, respected, and encouraged to participate
Differentiating instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of your students
Assessing student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development
Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the academic and social-emotional growth of each child
Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
Experience teaching Year 2 students preferred, but newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment
