Job Description
They are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to their Year 2 students, fostering a love for learning and ensuring every child makes excellent progress.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages pupils to take risks and learn from their mistakes.
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Contribute to the wider school community and its continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A proven track record of successful teaching experience, preferably in Key Stage 1.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
