Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

Tailored Assistance: Provide one-on-one or small group support to Year 2 students, aiding them in reaching their academic and social objectives.
Data Management: Assist in monitoring and documenting students' progress, ensuring that interventions are effective and aligned with each child's developmental stage.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to establish a comprehensive support network for each Year 2 student, ensuring their academic and emotional success.
Fostering Independence: Encourage students to develop essential life skills and independence in a safe and nurturing environment, preparing them for their educational journey ahead.
Building Connections: Cultivate positive relationships with our Year 2 students, ensuring they feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to excel.
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant in an educational setting, particularly with KS1 children.
Qualifications: Good literacy skills – GCSE Grade C or above in English Language; Level 2 English or above; or equivalent and Good numeracy skills– GCSE Grade C or above in Maths; Level 2 Maths or above; or equivalent
Passion: A genuine passion for supporting young children in their early development, along with a commitment to their well-being and educational growth.

Team Player: Collaborative and willing to work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide the best support for our young learners.
Innovation: Ability to adapt and implement innovative teaching strategies and techniques suitable for Year 2 students' distinct learning needs.
Passion: A genuine passion for supporting primary school children in their academic and personal growth, with a deep commitment to their well-being.
