Position Type: Full-time Permanent (Part-time considered)
GSL Education are currently seeking a number of highly motivated and dedicated Qualified Teachers for Year 1 or Reception class with experience in Key Stage 1 (KS1) education to join our client schools across Slough, to undertake placements from September. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.
Role and Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Year 1 Teacher curriculum.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote a positive and cohesive learning community.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience as a Year 1 Teacher and working within setting is desirable, but not essential.
Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for innovative teaching practices.
