Are you looking for a new challenge and the next step up in your teaching career? Look no further- We are seeking to appoint Year 1 Teachers at an Outstanding Primary school in Gorton. Come and join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. This school has a maternity cover available.
As a Year 1 Teacher, you are responsible for the day-to-day teaching and learning provision for Year 1 children in their class. You will receive coaching and mentoring from experienced leaders in the school to ensure that you are supported in all aspects of what you do. Newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be expected to:
Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of year 1 students, ensuring both academic progress and personal development
Have excellent team spirit and good behaviour management skills
Be passionate about teaching and have a strong command of the curriculum
Have creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with young children
Position: Year 1 Teacher- Maternity Cover
Location: Gorton
Salary Type: £30,000 - £41,333 per annum
Start Date: Late May 2024
Requirements:
A teaching qualification, QTS/PGCE
An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application
Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential
