An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Burton upon Trent on a full-time maternity cover contract.

The school is seeking a passionate and driven Key Stage 1 teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire children to achieve their very best. This role would suit a teacher who is enthusiastic about early learning, understands the importance of building strong foundations, and is eager to make a positive impact within a supportive school community.

The successful candidate will:

Be an excellent classroom practitioner with experience or a strong understanding of Key Stage 1.
Demonstrate a passion for helping young learners develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
Have high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and pupil progress.
Be committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
