A new opportunity for an experienced primary teacher who wants to make an immediate impact.
Academics are currently recruiting for a Qualified Teacher, Year 1 to join a primary school in Hemel Hempstead, supporting a Year 1 class on a full-time basis.
This is an ASAP opportunity in Hemel Hempstead for a teacher who is confident leading a classroom, planning engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment.
The opportunity
The school is a well-established primary setting with a strong focus on creating an inclusive, supportive environment where children are encouraged to develop both academically and personally.
You will be taking responsibility for a Year 1 class, working alongside an experienced team and contributing fully to the day-to-day life of the school.
We are particularly interested in hearing from a Qualified Teacher, Year 1 who has previous KS1 experience and can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils.

What we're looking for
The successful Qualified Teacher - Year 1 will ideally have:
QTS or recognised UK teaching qualification
Recent experience teaching within KS1
Strong classroom management skills
The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
A calm, consistent and nurturing approach
Excellent communication skills
