Jonathan Lee Recruitment has a new vacancy for an experienced Yards Person / FLT Driver to join a leading manufacturing business in Market Drayton, Shropshire. The Yards Person role comes with a starting hourly pay rate up to £12.00 per hour, and also offers overtime opportunities paid at premium rate.
Due to the nature of the job we require someone who holds a Full UK Driving license, a Counterbalance forklift license would be preferred, but the hiring manager is prepared to put someone through the course.
As a Yards Person / FLT Driver you will be required to use a Counterbalance forklift truck daily, moving company vehicles from the yard into the factory. You will also need to adhere to Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and PPE policies and procedures.
As a Yards Person, you must undertake:
Using a Counterbalance forklift truck daily
Moving company vehicles from the yard into the factory
Conducting yard and factory maintenance
Adhering to Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and PPE policies and procedures
To apply for this Yards Person / FLT Driver role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
Previous experience within a similar role
Full UK Driving License
FLT Counterbalance license (Preferred)
Previous yards man experience
In return for your dedication, collaboration and commitment, you'll receive a generous hourly rate of up to £12.00 per hour, and overtime opportunities that are paid at T1/3 once the basic 40 hours have been completed.
