Description:

Role Purpose: Support the business in depot management and provide high quality stock control.

Responsibilities:

* Raise orders for waste removal, skips, plant, materials, PPE and tools

* Maintain stock levels

* Assist with GRN’ing of delivery notes

* Carry out depot audits as required

* Obtain and keep up to date COSHH information

* Control maintenance and servicing log sheet for all small plant and loader shovel

* Control, monitor and record fire/off hire all plant equipment

* Managing waste and record keeping

* Manage depot and keep in good order/Signage

* Accept, receive and load materials

* Ensure that the depot Health and Safety rules are enforced

Authorities:

* Raise all orders in relation to keeping operational staff able to deliver in line with the business plan objectives

* Operate, manage fuel tanks and hot boxes

* Undertake site inductions to visitors and ensure they comply to depot H&S rules

Desired Competencies:

* Understanding of products require to deliver

* IT skills to order on line via procurement

* Legislation on movement of waste and duty of care (WAMITAB)

* Able to store the variety of products in a safe manner and secure

* Awareness of stock holding to deliver

* Demonstrate value

* Operators CITB licence for tele-handler

* HGV licence with winter NVQ
