Description:
Pertemps are looking for a Yard Operative/FLT driver for our leading material supplier based in West Bromwich.
Duties include but aren't limited to:
Loading and unloading vehicles with use of FLT counterbalance
Dealing with customer collections
Stock location
Picking and packing ready for customer collection
Supporting the warehouse manager in the day to day running of the yard/warehouse
Keeping the yard and warehouse organised and tidy
What you’ll need:
A valid FLT counterbalance certificate and experience
Previous yard/warehouse experience
Flexibility as overtime may be required to ensure customer satisfaction
Willingness to learn products/product knowledge
A good level of customer service skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
The hours of work are 08:00am-17:00pm Monday to Thursday and 08:00am-16:00pm on Fridays paying £13.55 per hour. This will be a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.
