Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Location: Bolton (BL3)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week)
Pay: £12.87 per hour
Pay Frequency: Monthly
Centric Talent is recruiting for a talented and experienced Yard Operative to join our client, one of the UK's leading bathroom manufacturers and retailers, based in Bolton (BL3).
Supplying high-quality bathroom products to customers across the UK, our client is continuing to grow and is looking for a hardworking, reliable individual to support the day-to-day yard operations of their busy site. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temporary to permanent position with genuine long-term career prospects within a well-established and successful business.
About the Role
As a Yard Operative, you'll play an important role in supporting the site's operations by repairing and restoring wooden pallets, loading and unloading vehicles, carrying out routine safety checks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard.
This is hands-on role that involves working outdoors throughout the year, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy practical work and don't mind working in all weather conditions.
Duties Include
Repairing and restoring wooden pallets using hand tools
Inspecting pallets and carrying out routine safety checks
Loading and unloading vehicles
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Working as part of a busy team to achieve daily operational targetsWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience in a yard or similar environment is essential
Experience using hand tools would be an advantage
A strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual approach
