Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 and Year 6 children
Assess and record pupil progress to provide constructive feedback
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil development
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS check
Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of children
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education
Specialist training in specific areas such as SEN or EAL
Working Conditions:
The role involves working during school hours, with additional time required for lesson planning and assessments. The teacher may need to attend staff meetings and parent-teacher conferences outside of regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
