Workshop/Yard Assistant
Hours: 40 hours
£24,000 - £28,000
We are looking for a Workshop/Yard Assistant to join our team, supporting the service and maintenance of our rental fleet. This is a hands-on role involving workshop support, yard duties and assisting with the upkeep of equipment.
Workshop/Yard Assistant Key Responsibilities
Assist with servicing, maintenance and preparation of rental equipment.
Support workshop repairs and off-site servicing when required.
Load and unload equipment within the yard.
Operate a forklift when required (training provided if needed).
Record generator hours and fuel levels when equipment returns.
Collect and deliver parts and equipment using company vehicles.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Follow company Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.Skills & Experience Required from the Workshop/Yard Assistant:
Full UK Driving Licence.
Forklift Truck Licence.
Previous workshop or engineering experience.
CSCS Card.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
