Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Workshop Team Leader in Camberley

Location : Camberley | GU15 3DF
Pay rate: £46k / £20.81ph
Working hours: working Mon-Fri 45 hour week

Main Purpose

To provide supervision of a maintenance workshop serving a diverse range of vehicles, equipment and plant; and plan the effective use of resources to deliver a cost-effective Service and Maintenance Repair facility always ensuring first class customer service.

Responsibilities

Compliance with legislative and company standards of all equipment and tools
Health & Safety of Workshop
Monitoring Fitter performance, quality and productivity
Maintain cost controls on behalf of Amey
Actively identify and develop effective ways of delivering service
Identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications

Full driving licence: Minimum C+E
City & Guilds Motor Vehicle level 1,2 & 3

Skills

Planning and motivational skills
Computer Literate
Ability to communicate with team and management Experience
Experience of maintenance workshops ideally in a supervisory role
Able to demonstrate workshop planning knowledge
Experience in performance managing teams
Significant "On Tools" experience
High level of problem solving skills
