Workshop Mechanic (Automotive / HGV / Ex-forces)
£37,000 - £39,000 + Training + Excellent Work Life Balance + Days Based + Pension + Progression + No Shift + Flexible Hours
Workshop Based, commutable from Tiverton, Taunton, Exeter
Are you a Mechanic with a background in Automotive, HGVs, PSV, LGV, Agricultural, Ex-REME, or similar looking to join a well-established, regional service provider that offers fantastic training opportunities, long term career progression, all while prioritising your work-life balance in a role with flexible working hours, no shifts and very rare weekend work,
This is a fantastic chance to take the next step in your career as a stationary HGV mechanic where you will work on a fleet of HGVs and LCVs in a fully equipped and clean workshop and be trained to become a technical expert working for a team who is known for valuing their staff, reflected in their fantastic rates of employee retention.
This company is a known groundworks provider, known for their fantastic attention to detail and customer service, as well as looking after their close knit team. Due to ongoing growth plans they are looking to take on an additional engineer to join them.
In this role you will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair, servicing and examination of vehicles that come into the workshop. You will be given great training, including the opportunity to gain your IRTEC license if not already obtained, as well as having great paths for internal career progression, long term.

The Role:
* Inspecting, repairing and maintaining a fleet of HGVs
* Days based Monday-Friday with some flexible working
* Weekend callout, one in eight weeks

* HGV, PSV, LCV, Vehicle, REME, Agri or simialr background
* Looking to work from a single site workshop
