Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DoE

An established bespoke joinery manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its manufacturing facility. The business delivers high-quality joinery, cabinetry and interior packages for high-end residential and commercial projects.

The Role

* Manage the daily running of the joinery workshop, ensuring production targets and delivery deadlines are achieved.

* Lead, mentor and organise a team of bench joiners, machinists and workshop operatives.

* Plan production schedules and allocate labour effectively across multiple live projects.

* Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

* Liaise with the design, contracts and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

* Coordinate material requirements with purchasing to minimise production delays.

* Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and manufacturing processes.

* Promote and enforce Health & Safety procedures across the workshop.

About You

* Previous experience managing a joinery or woodworking manufacturing workshop.

* Strong background in bespoke joinery, architectural joinery or furniture manufacturing

* Able to read and interpret manufacturing and technical drawings.

* Experience managing production programmes and workshop teams.

* Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.

* Good understanding of workshop machinery, manufacturing processes and quality control.

* Committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and meeting project deadlines.

Package

* £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
