An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Workshop Manager to join our forward-thinking company. Supported by Yolk Recruitment, I am seeking a motivated individual who can quickly demonstrate efficiency and production improvements within our manufacturing operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to advance their career within an expanding and prosperous business.
This is what you'll be doing:
Assign tasks to staff and ensure daily motivation to safely boost productivity.
Manage workflow across multiple factory sites, ensuring processes are maintained in line with company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Communicate with customers and clients as needed.
Conduct inspections and quality control.
Oversee all stages of workshop operations, including fabrication and machine shop delivery, to ensure compliance with company procedures.
Provide training and assistance to employees.
Ensure production targets and quality standards are met throughout the business.
Report any equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to the Health and Safety Manager/Operations Manager.
Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety procedures throughout the workshop and other factory areas at all times.
Collaborate with Designer Engineers on methods to improve product and production efficiency.
Ensure all work meets the company's high standards of quality and production.And this is what you'll need:
Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing background.
Proficiency in IT software, such as Microsoft packages.And this is what you'll get:
