Workshop Fitter

Description:

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-known manufacturing company in their search for a Workshop Fitter to work in their leading facility in Basildon.

For the successful Workshop Fitter our client is offering:

Hourly rate of £15 - £16 per hour depending on experience
Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm with a 12pm finish on Fridays
Potential Overtime opportunities
Ongoing project - Will last until the end of year at least, but could extend
Free on site parking
The role - Workshop Fitter:

Completing tractor driveline removal, installation & modifications
Preparation of Tractors for engineering tests
Conduct Fitting, vehicle instrumentation & testing work
Supporting test engineers in line with agreed project timescales
Supporting with troubleshooting tractor faults & test failures
Completing all associated paperwork
Uploading reports into the customers reporting system
Diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical issues
What the client is looking for in a Workshop Fitter:

Full UK Licence - Essential
Must demonstrate suitable Fitting/Vehicle Technician based experience
Able to remove, replace and modify mechanical assemblies
Demonstrates mechanical fault finding & troubleshooting skills
Able to work from drawings
IT literate
Were looking for candidates who have either: Automotive, Commercial Vehicle, Vehicle Fitting, Agricultural experience
Key skills or similar Job titles:
