The role:
Our client is seeking an ambitious individual with an engineering mindset/education to join their team of 12 to work as a Workshop Engineer which will be a mixture of hands on and hands off duties such as Design, Production, Testing etc. The individual will need to have some experience in CAD whether it comes from college, university or professional experience (The client will be happy to support with the rest!)
Role requirements:
* You will be a driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual.
* Excellent communication skills, you will be confident dealing with various levels of person.
* A team player with good attention to detail.
* Electrical and Mechanical engineering skills.
* CAD software skills.
* Competent with MS Office (Word & Excel)
Responsibilities:
* Design and produce a variety of mechanical parts and accessories using CAD software.
* Mechanical & Electrical involvement with the maintenance and build of bespoke machinery.
* Support to the Spares Co-Ordinator with the continued running of the spares department, including order acknowledgement, placement and shipping.
* Maintaining a safe working environment to ensure work activities are safe
