We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled Workshop Controller to join their reputable automotive group at their dealership in Wimbledon. This is a key leadership role within a busy, high-performing service workshop, offering the opportunity to oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians, and deliver exceptional customer service. The Workshop Controller will play a vital role in maintaining workshop efficiency, ensuring service quality, and supporting the overall success of the dealership.

Full-time hours, including Saturday mornings on a rotaDuties of the Workshop Controller:

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of qualified and apprentice technicians to meet daily workshop demands
Allocate job cards and organise workload distribution to maximise productivity
Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets brand standards and customer expectations
Oversee technical workshop systems, including EVHC and booking platforms
Maintain high workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction
Support the Service Advisor team to ensure smooth workshop operation
Monitor workshop KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and industry regulationsRequirements:

Proven experience as a Workshop Controller within a franchised dealership environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in IT systems, ideally with EVHC software experience
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Dedicated to delivering high-quality service and maintaining high standards
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
