We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly motivated Workshop Controller to join a prestigious automotive dealership in Knutsford, Cheshire. The successful Workshop Controller will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, managing workflow, motivating the team, and ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety are maintained.

Oversee daily workshop activities, ensuring efficient workflow management
Monitor job progress to meet deadlines and quality standards
Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, and management
Motivate and support the workshop team to achieve high performance
Uphold workshop safety and operational standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing team productivity and customer satisfaction
Support the onboarding and training of workshop staff as requiredRequirements of the Workshop Controller:
Previous experience in a similar role such as Workshop Controller, Service Manager, or Master Technician
Strong organisational and planning skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and resolve issues promptly
Solutions-focused attitude and proactive approach to challenges
