We are recruiting for a Workshop Controller in Brigg on behalf of a reputable independent garage. The Workshop Controller role offers a vital leadership position within a well-established team, delivering operational excellence and driving workshop efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced workshop controllers, technicians aiming to transition into a supervisory role, or service advisors seeking a senior position within the motor trade. The successful Workshop Controller will benefit from a competitive basic salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience, and will work a 40-hour week with occasional weekend work required.

Assigning work to vehicle technicians to ensure efficient workshop operation
Planning incoming work, managing technician schedules, and allocating resources
Ensuring productivity is maximised and deadlines are met
Completing administrative tasks such as invoicing and job cards
Acting as a primary point of contact for customer communication
Liaising between the front desk and workshop teams
Sourcing and ordering vehicle parts
Assisting in other areas of the business as requiredRequirements:
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller within the Motor Trade, or a background as a technician or service advisor with workshop control experience
Proven track record of performance and efficiency
Excellent communication skills
Full valid UK driving licence
Ability to lead and motivate a busy workshop team to maximise performance
