Calling all Work Planners!

Are you already an experienced Housing Maintenance and Repairs Work Planner/ Scheduler who thrives in a fast-paced environment whilst delivering exceptional customer service and looking for the next step in your career?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Work Planner/ Scheduler within our Platform Property Care planning team that could be for you!

In this key role you will be working as part of a highly motivated team planning planned and reactive maintenance work for our customers. Our team of Work Planners are central to our drive to deliver great customer service and ‘right first time’ repairs and installations.

This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:30 - so no weekend working.

What could you be doing?

Responsible for planning an operational multi-skill trades workforce, maintaining contact with field teams, and liaising with customers, you will need to be highly organised, approachable, and a confident communicator. It is a busy role, juggling different priorities and you will need to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet and be able to work on your own initiative. But this won’t phase you as you will excel in organising the engineers and scheduling property maintenance and repairs. You will also have the support of a great team around you.

Who we are looking for:

Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook and Word

*

Experience of working in a building maintenance or construction administration team as a work planner or scheduler is essential

Demonstrable capability and experience of Workforce (Engineers) planning and scheduling software. Previous experience of using DRS is preferred so if you do have this, please highlight this in your application.

*Whist this role is home based, there will be an expectation that you will be able to travel to our Group Offices located in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull or Central Park, Worcester on an ad-hoc basis, and as required. There is a Team meeting every other month and there will be other infrequent travel required. Any required travel (training/meetings as example) will be reimbursed in line with our current policy and current Inland Revenue Mileage rates. Car parking at our offices is free.
