Wordpress Developer - Remote, UK

Are you a Wordpress Developer with experience in Frontend Development, and skilled in HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript?

This is a REMOTE opportunity working for an established Funeral Care business which is open for 8 days! Additionally, training is on offer for ALL colleagues for all their positions, to help you achieve industry recognised qualifications!

This is a permanent offering £35,000-£45,000, with great routes to advance your career, where you will also play a key role in their Marketing team.

Please note that applicants must have full permission to work in the UK, as sponsorship will NOT be offered for the role.

What does the role entail?

Maintain Production, Staging and Development Environments in WP Engine
Develop, update and maintain Wordpress Themes, Plugins and APIs
Update and Maintain Next.js Web App on Vercel
Build and test effective, high converting landing pages for campaigns utilising A/B and multivariate testing to optimise over time
Improve technical SEO across our websites, optimising page load speed and utilising Schema markup
Provide support and training for Marketing colleagues
Create user friendly interfaces to allow marketing team members to build page layouts and interactive elements using ACF & Gravity FormsWhat skills will you have?

3 years' experience as a Front End / Wordpress Developer or in a similar role
Proficiency in HTML, PHP, CSS and Javascript
Strong knowledge of Wordpress customisation and theme development
Experience with responsive and mobile first web design
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
WP Engine & ACFo Vercel,
js/Next.jso
Google Tag Manager & Analytics
Adobe SuiteWhat is on offer?
