Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a hardworking and reliable Woodshop Labourer to join a busy manufacturing and production business on the outskirts of Maldon, Essex. This is a temporary ongoing role, working within a woodshop environment, supporting the production team with the preparation and finishing of high-quality wooden products.
Key Responsibilities of the Woodshop Labourer
Sanding wooden products to achieve a high-quality finish
Assisting skilled operatives with the preparation of materials
Handling timber and finished products safely
Supporting general woodshop and production duties
Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised
Following health and safety procedures at all timesWorking Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm
£12.71 per hourRequirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or labouring role is beneficial but not essential
Comfortable carrying out manual work and being on your feet throughout the day
Good attention to detail, particularly when sanding and preparing products
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
