Description:
Our client, a dedicated player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Wirer to join their cable assembly and wiring production department on a temp to perm basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Process cable assemblies, looms, and unit assemblies in accordance with work instructions or drawings provided
Check completed work for compliance before passing to the next stage
Ensure job history is accurately maintained and reported on all route cards you work on
Proactively advise management of any issues that may affect delivery or quality
Adhere to all Health and Safety, housekeeping, quality, and environmental policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
Industry standard qualifications (J-STD IPC/WHMA-A-620) required
Awareness and understanding of ESD Controls
Ability to read and understand complex drawings and instructions
Awareness and understanding of AS9100/ISO9001
Experience in wiring and assembly
Key Personal Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in IT and capable of using PCs and tablets as required
Motivated and with good time management skills
Calm and collected with the ability to work under extreme pressure
