NG Authorised Electrician / Wireman
Rate: £32.00 per hour
We are currently seeking an experienced NG Authorised Electrician/Wireman to join our team working on high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out electrical fitting activities on high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment.
Installation of control and protection equipment.
Installation and testing of earthing systems.
Installation of outdoor substation equipment, including busbars, disconnectors, and switchgear.
Maintenance of high-voltage electrical equipment.
Fault finding on both low-voltage and high-voltage systems.
Receiving and working from high-voltage documentation and permits.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards and procedures.
Essential Requirements
NG Authorised Person certification.
Proven experience working on high-voltage electrical installations and maintenance.
Manual Handling certification.
Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and industry regulations.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
