Description:

Windows Server Migration Engineer required. You must have active DV Clearance. We are seeking an exceptional Windows Server Migration Engineer with deep technical expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems to lead the migration of complex enterprise environments from legacy Windows Server platforms (2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019) to Windows Server 2025.

This is not a standard infrastructure engineering role. The successful candidates will possess expert-level knowledge of the Windows operating system architecture, application dependencies, legacy technologies, and software compatibility. They will be responsible for analysing, remediating and migrating business-critical applications operating within highly complex environments where compatibility, stability and service continuity are paramount.

The engineer will be expected to resolve deeply technical migration issues involving legacy applications, obsolete components, scripting languages, dynamic link libraries (DLLs), COM objects, registry dependencies and deprecated Windows technologies. The role will be office based, 5 days a week in central London
