Wills Probate Solicitor / Lawyer / Legal Executive
Our Client requires a motivated and enthusiastic Solicitor, Lawyer or Legal Executive to join a growing Wills and Probate team.
The role is to be based primarily at their Telford office, with some expectation to travel to the other offices, which are located in Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton.
Responsibilities:
* Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, undertaking probate and Court of Protection applications is sought.
* Expected to run your own case load of matters
* Working to and achieving deadlines within a busy office environment.
* Dealing with clients who are often in stressful situations, professionals and other third parties
* Have a willingness to take part in business generation and development.
Candidate Specification:
* Experience in drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, undertaking probate and Court of Protection applications is sought.
* Capable of dealing with clients who are often in stressful situations.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Solicitors’ Code of Conduct and the Money Laundering Regulations.
* Excellent organisational, written and IT skills are essential
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
* Experience of using a case management system is ideal but not essential
* Exceptional file management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Being able to work as part of a team and good communication skills are essential
