The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Wickman Automatic Lathe/AS14 Tornus Machine Operator on behalf of our established engineering client based in Wednesbury.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected precision engineering company that manufactures high-quality components supplied to the automotive, aerospace, and medical sectors.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday
07:00am - 3:00pm
Early finish every day with no weekend work
Pay Rate
From £15.00 per hour
Higher rate available depending on skills and experience
The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating specialist machinery, including:
Wickman Automatic Lathes
AS14 Tornus MachinesYou will be producing precision-engineered components to customer specifications while maintaining high quality standards and production efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
Have proven experience setting and operating Wickman Automatic Lathe machines
Have experience working on AS14 Tornus machines
Be able to work to engineering drawings and specifications
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Be reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
