Description:
Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Wet Sprayer for our client based in Lichfield.
You will be responsible for preparing and finishing fabricated steel, aluminium and stainless-steel components using both industrial wet paint and powder coating systems.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare parts for painting through cleaning, degreasing, sanding, masking and surface preparation.
* Apply industrial wet paint coatings using conventional and air-assisted spray equipment.
* Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray systems.
* Operate curing ovens safely and efficiently.
* Mix paints and coatings
* Ensure correct paint thickness, finish and colour
* Inspect components before, during and after painting
* Identify and rectify coating defects where possible.
* Carry out reworks
* Read and follow engineering drawings
* Maintain paint shop equipment
This is a permanent role paying £15.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experienec.
This is a straight permanent role.
Hours of work: 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 11:30 Friday.
