About the Role
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Welsh-medium secondary school in Swansea that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant for an immediate start.
The school provides a Welsh-speaking learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities.
You'll work alongside teaching staff to support pupils across the secondary age range, helping deliver engaging lessons, providing classroom assistance and supporting students with ALN where required.

What We're Looking For
The successful Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:
Fluency in Welsh is essential, with the ability to communicate confidently in both Welsh and English.
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable, but not essential).
Experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) is highly desirable, but not essential.
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
A positive, patient and adaptable approach, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
