The school is looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking Secondary Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Welsh Speaking Secondary Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), working closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support, encourage engagement in lessons and promote positive outcomes for every learner.
The successful Welsh Speaking Secondary Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience supporting children or young people with ALN
• Fluency in spoken Welsh and English
• Experience working within a secondary school setting is desirable
• A positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
