Welsh-Speaking KS2 Teaching Assistant - Caerphilly
Start Date: September 2026

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, and committed Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Caerphilly from September 2026.

The successful candidate will have proven experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2 and will be confident communicating fluently in Welsh and English. You will play an important role in supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing, and development within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting teaching and learning across KS2 classes
Delivering support to pupils through the medium of Welsh
Working with small groups and individual learners
Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working within KS2
Fluency in Welsh and English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Relevant TA qualifications or equivalent experience
