Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: 12.90 an hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the Foundation Phase team. The successful candidate will support the school's young learners in a dynamic and engaging classroom setting, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education through the medium of Welsh.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support the development of children's Welsh language skills.
Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Supervise students during activities, both inside and outside the classroom.
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and activities.
Requirements:

Fluent in Welsh (essential).
Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
A passion for education and a commitment to supporting children's development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
